We make a point of going every year just because it’s so good, even if you do have to get there at 6am to get all the good stuff. It’s such a fun day out, and the people watching is just as fascinating as the stuff people are trying to sell!

This year I picked up these beautiful light cages that came from a ship, I love the brass detail at the top. Now I just need to figure out how I’m going to use them. I like the idea of them being bedside lights but I just need to think how and what to attach them to.

It was the first episode and I’m already hooked!

Taking it a step further, this cabin is made with only materials found on site or from recycled bits. Love it - wish I had had as much dedication for our cabin.

  • Creating my own wrapping paper.
  • Spending time with family and friends.
  • Communing with nature. This little bird landed on the deck at the cabin and let me pet him for a bit. I thought he might be injured but when I tried to put him into a box he flew away. Hope the little guy is ok.
  • Building a walkway at the cabin made out of pallets.
  • Spending time with the grumpy cat
  • Painting a geometric wall inspired by Weekday Carnival
